Gauteng police are investigating the gang-rape of eight women who were part of a production company shooting a music video in Krugersdorp this week.
The victims are all models who worked for the production company.
Provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Brenda Muridili, said they were attacked by a group of armed men on Thursday.
She said in a brief statement, that the assailants also robbed them of their belongings.
Muridili says Gauteng Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant-General, Elias Mawela, has mobilised maximum resources to hunt down the perpetrators which already resulted in the arrest of three suspects.
Police are looking for another 17 suspects, all believed to be illegal miners operating in the area.
She says SAPS registered cases of rape and armed robbery.
