Eight scholars die after bus overturns in KZN

Eight learners were killed in Kwazulu Natal when a bus overturned on Tuesday night.

The spokesperson for the KZN transport department, Kwanele Ncalane, says the accident happened between Ulundi and Kwaceza.

Ncalane says five learners are in critical condition while 20 sustained minor injuries.

He says the learners were returning from Richards Bay to Kwaceza.

KZN Transport MEC, Willies Mchunu, will visit the accident scene today and also visit crash survivors.
