The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ebrahim Ebrahim, embarked on a two nation tour to the Middle East and Asia.
The Department of International Relations says the objective of the visits will be to exchange views on enhancing bilateral co-operation between South Africa and the regions on areas of economic cooperation, Trade, Tourism and Investment, stability and development.
Department spokesperson, Clayson Monyela says Ebrahim will also attend the 4th session of the South Africa-Saudi Arabia Joint Economic Commission.
He says countries to be visited include Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan.
