Eleven killed in Free State accident

Eleven were killed died, and 11 were injured, when a minibus taxi and a car collided head-on on the N3 near Harrismith in the Free State late on Friday afternoon.

Netcare 911's Jeffrey Wicks says five passengers in the car and six in the minibus were killed on impact.

He says three of the injured were taken to the Harrismith hospital in critical condition.
