The case against the man accused of raping a six-year-old girl in the bathroom of a Dros Restaurant in Pretoria has been postponed.
Much of Tuesday's proceedings revolved around the media's request to take photographs of the accused.
The Magistrate Mali Mokoena ordered that only the back of the accused may be photographed but State Attorney Sanet Jacobson said it was a little too late for that as the accused's face was all over social media.
Journalists were eventually allowed to take still photographs.

According to the law, the suspect's name may not be used unless he has pleaded, although in this case, his name and photo's have gone viral on social media.
Meanwhile, members of various South African political parties and Civic society groups made their presence felt at the Pretoria magistrate's court amid a strong police presence.
The case was also attended by the Mayor of Tshwane Solly Msimanga.
