Driver killed in Jhb train collision

A collision between two trains at Denver station south of Johannesburg on Tuesday morning left one person dead and about 80 people injured.

Metrorail spokesperson, Lillian Mofokeng, says a Metroplus and business train collided.

Mofokeng says paramedics are currently at the scene working to free trapped passengers from the carriages.

She says all trains between Johannesburg and Pretoria will be affected.
