Police are investigating a case of murder, after three members of a family were brutally murdered in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape on Tuesday morning.
It's alleged that the mother and father aged 54 and 55, and their 22 year old son, were attacked and killed in their De Zalze Golf Estate home.
Police spokesperson, Luietenant-Colonel Andre Traut says their two other children, a 16 year old girls and 20 year old man were taken to hospital, after being seriously injured in the attack.
Meanwhile It has emerged that the man in his early 20's has been taken in for questioning - following the murders of 3 people believed to be his family.
The deceased are believed to be the parents and brother of the young man.
Police say they are investigating all possibilities and will not speculate on anything. No arrests have been made.
