Democratic Alliance leader, Helen Zille says they are confident that they will snatch Gauteng and the Northern Cape from the ruling African National Congress in the coming general elections.
She says the ANC's mistake started in 2007 at the Polokwane conference, where President Jacob Zuma was elected.
Zille says the outcome of the election was a fast route and shortcut to the fall of the ANC.
She says the DA is working on taking over the two provinces, as people had become disillusioned with corruption and poor service delivery.
The DA leader was speaking in Polokwane on Saturday at the party's provincial elective congress.
