The crisis in the Eurozone has hit the South African wool market, with prices softening further at this week's sale.
Cape Wools says the penultimate sale of the season saw business sentiment being hit and the market indicator sheding 2.5% to close at R95.96 per kilogram for clean wool.
Spokesperson, Ona Viljoen, says the price drop came despite a softer Rand.
She says 93% of the more than 8,200 bales on offer was sold.
