Criminal charges laid against manager of Kuruman Hospital

Afriforum has laid a criminal charge against the manager of the Kuruman Hospital.

This, after a recent inspection of the hospital revealed decomposing bodies, and blood flowing freely into the street.

Afriforum Northern Cape spokesperson, Stefan Pieterse, says they're demanding that Agnes Sesing be jailed for at least 10 years for gross negligence.

He says she should he held accountable in her personal capacity.

"Members of the public informed us that the Kuruman State Hospital is in a very bad situation. We have lodged an investigation and we sent all the photo's to the Green Scorpions. We also laid a criminal charge against the hospital manager. We want her to be prosecuted now" he said

The Northern Cape Health Department says it will be issuing a statement on the Kuruman Hospital during the course of the day.
