Covid-19 in SA: 150 cases confirmed and expected to rise


Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize says the number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in the country now stands at 150.

The Free State has recorded its first cases of the Novel Coronavirus, making it the first province in Central South Africa to record such cases.

The total provincial break down of COVID-19 cases to date is as follows:

Gauteng: 76
Western Cape: 46
KZN: 22
Mpumalanga: 5
Limpopo: 1

Free State: 1

The Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and North West are still "Corona-free".
