A suspected murderer has been mistakenly released by a Durban Magistrate's Court clerk after he was denied bail.
According to a report on Monday, 29-year-old, Lebo Sibisi, was denied bail but the official court document known as J-7, stated he had been granted bail of 5-thousand.
Sibisi and a co-accused were charged with murder with aggravating circumstances following a robbery in Glenwood last September.
At the time Sibisi was out on parole after serving part of his sentence for other offences.
A warrant of arrest has since been issued for him.
