Convicted wife killer, Jason Rohde has reported to the Stellenbosch police station to be taken back to prison.
The 52-year-old's application to appeal his conviction, in particular, the extension of his bail, pending his appeal to the constitutional court, was denied last week.
Rohde submitted the application to the Western Cape High Court on Thursday.
On Saturday morning, the convicted wife killer reported to the police station, to be taken to Drakenstein Prison where he’ll begin serving his 15-year sentence.
In October, the Supreme Court of Appeal dismissed Rohde’s attempt to overturn his murder conviction for his wife, Susan’s death in 2016 but reduced his sentence from 20 years imprisonment to 15.
Earlier this year, Rohde took to the apex court in another desperate attempt to stay out of prison.
But the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has confirmed that the court ruled that he would have to await the outcome behind bars.
