Closing arguments in Bob Hewitt assault case

Closing argument in the rape and sexual assault trial of former tennis ace, Bob Hewitt, will be heard on Monday.

The case is being heard in the Johannesburg High Court sitting in Palm Ridge in Boksburg.

Seventy-five-year-old Hewitt has pleaded not guilty to the rape of two former tennis students, Theresa Tolken and Sue-ellen Sheehan in the 1980's.

He also denied a third charge of sexual assault by a third woman, who may not be named.

The defence closed its case on the 18th of February.
