A Cape Town policeman was arrested this morning for shooting and killing his wife.
The constable, stationed at the Kuilsriver police station, allegedly shot his 40-year-old wife on Tuesday night at their home during a domestic dispute.
Lt-Col Andrè Traut says he fled the scene with his service pistol.
An immediate investigation led police to a residence in Delft where the 37 year-old policeman surrendered himself.
He'll appear in court soon on a charge of murder.
