A British Airways Boeing 737 was involved in a mishap at O.R. Tambo International Airport following a flight from Port Elizabeth on Monday.
No reports of injuries were received, but one of the airport's runways was closed a short while ago.
Pictures from the scene indicate that the aircraft's left undercarriage collapsed.
Airports company spokesperson Colin Naidoo has confirmed the incident and that one of the runways was closed.
British Airways will issue a statement shortly.
