The bail hearing of two men accused of the brutal murder of farm manager Brendin Horner will continue in the Senekal Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
On Friday the court heard some chilling evidence from the Investigating Officer Pieter Myburgh who will be cross-examined by the defence on Tuesday.
Myburgh told Magistrate Deon Van Rooyen that the post-mortem results showed that Horner was stabbed in the head, shoulders and hands.
The autopsy further revealed that Horner died from strangulation.
Myburgh also testified on how the two accused Sekwetje Mahlamba (32) and Sekola Matlaletsa (44) bragged about how they stabbed a white man who was giving them problems.
Myburgh told the court that blood samples were taken from Horner's bakkie that contained the DNA of three different men.
Also, blood-stained items such as clothes, knife and shoes were confiscated by the police at one of the suspect's home.
The suspects, in their affidavits, said the blood on the clothes was that of an animal they helped to slaughter.
