The latest season of Big Brother Mzanzi was trending on Tuesday morning but for all the wrong reasons.
Housemates were informed last night that two contestants known as Adam and Bexx have been removed from the house.
This follows allegations of an alleged rape that took place after a night of heavy drinking in the house.
Big Brother confirmed on their website that Alex has been expelled from the house due to misconduct and that Bexx, who is originally from the Eastern Cape, was taken out of the house for her own well being. It further states that housemates were being debriefed by a pshychologist
A twitter war has since broken out with some fans saying no such incident took place, whilst others condemned those who accused the female contestant of being a liar.
Many viewers, mostly female have called on producers to take the show off air
