An eight-month-old baby has been killed, and four people injured, when a bakkie collided with another on the N1 highway between Sasolburg and Kroonstad in the Free State.
ER24's Werner Vermaak says the baby's family members were flung out of their bakkie during the impact of yesterday's accident.
He says the baby died at the scene.
Vermaak says the injured, including the driver of the other bakkie, were rushed to a hospital in Kroonstad.
