SAA's low cost carrier Mango will today become the first become domestic carrier to offer an Application on the Apple platform.
Mango's Hein Kaiser, says the airline plans to make the App available across most other mobile platforms during the next couple of months.
He says last October the airline launched the first airline mobi-site with a booking functionality in the country.
"Mango is quite pleased today to announce that they launched the first ever South African aviation App. This is also the first time for any airline in the country where you can actually book and pay for your flights, so no matter where you are in the country, if you have an apple device, i-pad or i-phone you can book and pay for your flights and check out the schedule" Kaiser said.
