ATM bombings in Cape Town

Two Automated Teller Machines were bombed in Goodwood, Cape Town, this morning.

Police spokesperson, captain Frederick van Wyk, says an explosion was heard around ten past three this morning and shortly afterwards a second blast went off.

He said a witness saw a white car with three or four people inside fleeing the scene.

Van Wyk says its unclear whether any money was taken.

A case of malicious damage to property is being investigated.
