Police have arrested another suspect in connection with the disappearance of six-year-old Joslin Smith.
A spokesperson for police Lieutenant Malcolm Pojie says a 32-year-old woman will appear in the Vredenburg Magistrates Court on Monday.
He says in the interest of solving the case and finding Joslin, police cannot disclose operational details or give a blow-to-blow account of the investigation.
Pojie says this can potentially jeopardise the ongoing investigation.
Joslin has been missing now for almost a month.
Her mother, 32-year-old Kelley Chantel Smith, her 31-year-old boyfriend Jacques Appolis and a third suspect, 27-year-old Steveno van Rhyn are already in custody and abandoned their bid for bail.
They are facing charges of kidnapping and human trafficking. Charges against a fourth woman were withdrawn earlier this month.
The case against the trio was postponed to the 13th of May.
The identity of the latest suspect will be divulged once she appears in court.
The search for Joslin continues.
