A drug mule has been arrested at Cape Town International Airport.
Police say the 40-year-old man was arrested last for carrying 99 bundles of the drug khat, with an estimated street value of R80,000.
Khat is a plant which, when chewed, produces a sense of mild euphoria and excitement.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer November Filander, says the Somalian arrived on a flight from Johannesburg with the drugs in his luggage.
