The energy department announced on Friday that diesel with a sulphur content of 0.05 per cent will go up by 27 cents a litre and that with a sulphur content of 0.005 percent by
28 cents.
The department says the increase is due to movements in the crude oil prices, international petroleum products prices, the rand/US dollar exchange rate and the self-adjusting Slate levy.
