ANCYL to hold press briefing later today on Malema 's expulsion

The ANC Youth League national executive committee met yesterday to discuss leader Julius Malema's expulsion from the mother party and decide on a way forward.
The league said it would hold a press briefing later today to discuss the outcomes of the meeting.

Malema was expelled from the ANC and the Youth League last week after earlier been found guilty of sowing division within the ruling party and of bringing the organisation into disrepute.

Malema has less than two weeks remaining in which to appeal his sentence.
