The ANC in the Eastern Cape will be joining their counterparts from around the country in celebrating the party's 107th anniversary on Tuesday.
ANC provincial spokesperson, Gift Nqondi, says the celebrations at the provincial headquarters in King Williams Town will include a ceremonial cutting of a cake.
He said this would also coincide with the launch of the Provincial War Room which will be the party’s nerve centre for the 2019 elections.
Meanwhile, ANC and State President Cyril Ramaphosa said the governing party will still be around in another 107 years.
He was speaking to supporters in Port Shepstone on Monday ahead of the 107th anniversary of the founding of the ANC.
The ANC leadership descended on KwaZulu-Natal in order to garner support for the birthday celebrations, which will culminate in the party’s official manifesto launch at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.
