The world's biggest platinum producer, Anglo American Platinum, has agreed to rehire 12,000 wildcat strikers who were earlier dismissed.
The National Union of Mineworkers says it has struck a deal to get Amplats to take back all the workers it sacked three weeks ago, while workers's pay demands will be addressed once the miners are back at work.
