The Congress of SA Trade Unions says it will rally in Rustenburg on Saturday to demand the reinstatement of dismissed mining workers.
Cosatu secretary-general, Zwelinzima Vavi, SA Communist Party secretary-general, Blade Nzimande and ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe are scheduled to address the rally.
Cosatu says in a statement the SA National Civic Organisation will also be represented.
The rally is scheduled to begin with a march from the Rustenburg taxi rank to the Olympia stadium.
