Three suspects are expected to appear in the Durban Magistrates Court on Monday following their arrest this past weekend for delivering drugs.
Spokeserson Captain Nqobile Gwala says two men aged 27 and 31 were arrested while they were in the process of delivering drugs.
Police found nearly a thousand capsules of heroin and 65 pieces of crack cocaine in their posession as well as R1700.00 in cash.
Gwala says their investigation then led them to a house in Pinetown where they discovered a drug laboratory where they seized drugs worth an estimated R1 million.
A 21-year-old woman who was found on the premises was also arrested.
At the lab police confiscated pure cocaine, crystal meth, heroin and thousands of capsules, empty capsules and drug paraphernalia.
