The Asset Forfeiture Unit has obtained a restraint order of 2.1 million rand against a doctor and two others accused of defrauding the Compensation Fund.
National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson, Mtunzi Magha, says the order was granted against doctor Jurry Se-hunwe and two former employees of the fund, Maxwell Ramaphosa and Samuel Mfeleng.
He says dr Se-hunwe was part of a syndicate that submitted fictitious claims to the fund.
Magha says he has been found guilty and will be sentenced on the 28th of March.
The trial of is two co-accused will commence later this month.
