Additional charges against Griekwastad murder accused

 The 16-year-old boy accused of killing a Griekwastad family on their farm will face an additional charge of rape when his trial resumes next month.

The charge sheet was handed in at the Kimberley High Court where the boy's trial will start on the 11th of March.

He was arrested for the murders of Northern Cape farmer Deon Steenkamp, his wife Christelle, and their teenage daughter Marthella, who were shot dead on the family's farm Naauwhoek last April.

The charge sheet alleges that the girl had been raped before she was killed.
