Addressing a Reconciliation Day gathering at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth on Wednesday, Zuma said the only way South Africans would heal is if they acknowledged the injustices of the past.
Zuma said both black and white South Africans should share their stories.
Earlier in the day, Zuma must fall protest marchers were held in Pertoria, Cape Town and Johannesburg in the wake of the finance minsters debacle of the past week.
