The Automobile Association (AA) says motorists can expect a slight increase in petrol prices in April based on unaudited data from the Central Energy Fund.
However, the AA says the data also points to a marginal decrease in diesel prices and illuminating paraffin.
The data indicates a 9 to 10 cents a litre rise in fuel prices, while diesel is slated to come down by 34 and 38 cents for both grades.
Paraffin is expected to drop by around 47 cents a litre.
The AA says the decrease in diesel and paraffin prices is certainly good news, as diesel is a big input cost in major economic sectors.
