7 killed in Gauteng car accident

Seven people were killed, and nine were injured in a car accident in Roodepoort, Gauteng on Saturday evening.

Netcare 911's Chris Botha says the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation.

He says paramedics arrived at the scene and found seven people dead, three critically wounded, and six seriously injured.

Botha says the injured were stabilized at the scene and transported to various hospitals in the area.
