South Africa has lost a total of 199 rhinos to illegal killings since the beginning of the year.
The Dept of Environmental Affairs says latest statistics indicate that the Kruger National Park is still the most targeted by poachers, having lost a 119 rhinos since the start o the year.
It says targeted provinces include Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West and KwaZulu-Natal which collectively account for 73 killed rhinos.
