Johannesburg, Dec 20 (I-Net Bridge) - The wheat crop estimate for 2011 is widely expected to remain unchanged at 1.808 million tons when the Crop Estimates Committee announces the fifth and final production forecast for the year for winter cereals on Wednesday.
Most traders polled by I-Net Bridge/BusinessLIVE felt that there would be little if any change to the last forecast given that the pace of producer deliveries seen in the season to date was very much in line with the progress seen in the past few seasons in terms of percentages delivered.
The area planted will also likely remain unchanged at 604,700 hectares.
