The final mohair sale of the 2012 winter season took place on Tuesday.
Mohair South Africa says its market indicator closed 2.4% down at R90.65 p/kg.
This was a result of large volumes which failed to attract good competition.
A highest price of R220 p/kg was paid for a bale of super style 27 micron kid mohair.
Mohair SA says the average market indicator for the winter season came in at R91.08 or 2% percent higher than the 2011 winter season.
