Yesterday was the launch day for the latest SpaceX rocket, but according to the company strong upper level winds led to a 24 hour postponement. If all goes well this afternoon the Falcon9 rocket will take the PAZ Earth Observation payload into orbit for Hidesat, which is the operator for the Spanish government satellites.
The 70-meter rocket was re-scheduled for lift off from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California today at 16:17 p.m. South African time. If conditions are favourable, the launch will be streaming LIVE right here:
