The new iPad is due to be release in South Africa this Friday, April 27th.

If you are interested in getting your hands on one at launch, you will most likely be wandering how much you’re in for. Wander no more, Core have released the finalized pricing for the new iPad in South Africa.



iPad with Wifi

16Gb – R4999

32Gb – R5999

64Gb -R6999

iPad with Wifi + 4G

16Gb – R6299

32Gb – R7299

64Gb – R8299

Bear in mind that while it reads “iPad with Wifi + 4G”, 4G LTE is not available in South Africa. The iPad will work on local 3G networks though.

According to the list from Core, the iPad 3 will only be available from 2 shops in Algoa country : Incredible Connection in Greenacres, PE and Hemmingways in East London.
