'The Notebook' Just Happened In Real Life

Some marriages go beyond "til death do us part," like the 63-year long union between Henry and Jeanette De Lange.

Henry was a Korean War vet who suffered from prostate cancer and, just like in The Notebook, Jeanette, a former musician, suffered from Alzheimers. The pair shared a room at a South Dakota nursing home where, on July 31st, the 87-year-old Jeanette passed away peacefully at 5:10 PM.

One of the couple's children told their dad, "Mom's gone to heaven. You don't have to fight anymore if you want to go too, you can."

Moments later, at 5:30 PM, Henry died at age 86, the same day as his wife, just like in The Notebook....
