Legendary South African newsreader Riaan Cruywagen, aka 'Cruy-Cruy', has taken it upon himself to teach South Africans how to be awesome.

In a series of videos posted on YouTube, Riaan shares signature party tricks, how to be a cool cat, how to reference popular culture in everyday life, and of course, how to be awesome.

The latest post is titled "Lesson 1: Be Awesome Instead with Riaan Cruywagen".

Riaan is known for having a sense of humour and appeared in the 33rd annual Loeries awards promo ad last year. The ad features Riaan in a Jacuzzi surrounded by girls in bikinis.
