Most-watched TV shows in South Africa

The Broadcast Research Council of South Africa has released its stats for May 2016, showing which local TV shows received the most viewers during the month.

The Council is a non-profit industry body that has been incorporated to ?cater to the audience research needs of the radio and television industry in South Africa,? it said.

The report for May shows that Scandal, Generations: The Legacy, Uzalo, and Muvhango are among the most-watched shows in South Africa.

It must be noted that the report covers SABC 1, 2, 3, and Encore; eTV, Vuzu, TLC, and Mzansi Magic.
