Idols judge and presenter Gareth Cliff was arrested last night after being pulled over for speeding. "He was caught driving 182km/h an hour in a 120km/h zone on the R21 in Lyttelton", said Gauteng traffic police spokesperson Busaphi Nxumalo. He was released later and did not spend last night in jail.
In an interview on his radio show this morning, Cliff admitted to speeding, but said it was merely because he was tired and in a hurry to get home.
