If it's a bring and braai, if you bring it, you  have to braai it!

If you set up the braai, make sure you set the rules: set time limits at the fire.

Don'ts: 

if you bring box wine, don't drink the bottled wine, 

if you bring wors, don't eat the steak!

If you're invited to the braai and you bring extra friends without extra meat, just don't.

Tips

Select a braai master that you trust

If you want to eat on time, let the women braai.
