Amor Wants Court Order Against Joost

Amor Vittone says she is planning to file a court order against her estranged husband Joost van der Westhuizen later this week to stop him from slandering her in the media, reports Die Burger.

This comes days after Joost claimed in initmate interviews with Carte Blanche and the weekly magazine Huisgenoot that Amor is keeping his kids away from him.

According to Amor's legal representative Selwyn Shapiro, Joost has been using the media as a platform in recent months to slander Amor. A letter was also received by the Pretoria High Court last week in which Amor claims that she worried about her children's safety during their visits to their father.

Motor neuron disease

Joost has denied any of these claims saying that despite being diagnosed with motor neuron disease in April 2011, he is still capable of looking after his children.

"My goals have yet again been shifted even further. I received a letter from my doctor that states my children are safe with me," Van der Westhuizen told Die Burger.

When Joost was asked about his comment on the pending court order, he said that he was not aware of it and did not want to give any comment regarding the matter.

'I gave Joost four chances'



In an interview with Rapport, Amor said that she gave Joost a number of chances before she finally split from him in 2010.

"I gave Joost four chances. On four various accounts he did stuff and I forgave him four times. Nobody knows about this. Now I have to find out that he has somebody following me and how he had relationships with other woman while I was pregnant," Amor told Rapport.

"I just want him to stop harassing me. And he should stop using the media to win sympathy."

Wishes him all the best

Although the pair has had their fair share of fights in the past, Amor says that she still wishes him all the best.

"I don't want the father of my children to die. On the contrary, I want no hard feelings between us, but he should just stop harassing me."

Amor also states that Joost is welcome to see his children at any time.

"He doesn't really spend that much time with them. Joost should also help with their homework, pack their schoolbags, bathe them and also maintain strict discipline," Amor told Rapport.

"I go to bed at night and then I wonder: What is Joost going to say about me in the newspapers tomorrow..."
