Bradley Wiggins tightened his grip on the yellow jersey on Monday with a maiden Tour de France stage victory that heaped the pressure on defending champion Cadel Evans.
Britain's Olympic track champion Wiggins was unstoppabable and finished 35 seconds cleary of Team Sky team mate Chris Froome.
Significantly, he extended his overall lead on Evans from 10 seconds to a massive 1min 53sec.
Evans now has a small mountain to climb - literally - ahead of two days in the high Alps.
