Bok fans in Nelson Mandela Bay will have to settle for a satellite tour of the Webb Ellis trophy early next year.
SA Rugby announced the details of the national trophy tour which will start in Johannesburg on Thursday, followed by Cape Town on Friday and then Durban on Saturday.
East London has been chosen as the Eastern Cape destination for the trophy tour on Sunday.
SA Rugby said the locations were selected for population size and in the case of the Eastern Cape, it was because of the province's rugby significance.
The double World Cup-winning Springbok squad will arrive back in South Africa from France on Tuesday.
Following the 2019 victory, several tours had to be abandoned because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
