The Springbok rugby team's return home was delayed due to poor visibility at London's Heathrow Airport on Sunday, leading to flights being delayed.
SA Rugby said the triumphant Boks had to spend another night in London and will board a flight on Monday afternoon, arriving in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
“The team - which kicked off the season with a 41-13 victory against Wales at Twickenham on Saturday - was scheduled to fly back to South Africa on Sunday night to begin preparations for the Castle Lager Incoming Series.
SA Rugby said due to the delay, Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus will announce his squad for the Castle Lager Incoming Series on Tuesday.
However, the Springboks appeared to have made the most of their time during the delay, breaking out in song and dance late into the night.
A South African family was also caught up at Heathrow and captured the joyous moment.
It’s after midnight in Heathrow. Flight has been cancelled. The @Springboks are dancing.
