A disappointing M-Way T-20 Challenge for the Chevrolet Warriors came to an end Wednesday night when they lost their final game by 8 wickets to the Nashua Titans at Supersport Park.
The Titans were set a comfortable target of 60 in 11 overs for the win after the Warriors had been restricted to 64/6 in 13.1 overs before the weather intervened.
The Titans, however, had to win in 8.4 overs to secure the bonus point that would enable them to finish ahead of the Knights and claim home ground advantage for the semi-finals.
This they achieved with a comfortable 5 balls and 8 wickets in hand.
The play-off match between the Knights and the Titans will be a day game at SuperSport Park on Sunday with the winner qualifying for the Nokia Champions' League as well as the MiWay T20 Challenge Final against the Highveld Lions the following Sunday.
