110th-placed Adrian Ford toppled 19th-ranked Jean Hugo 1-up there were good wins for three Eastern Cape golfers, James Kamte beating Zimbabwe's TC Charamba on the 19th hole, Jake Redman beating Graham van der Merwe 5 and 4 and Titch Moore beating Ryan Thomson 2 and 1.
Titch will be up against European Tour player Alex Haindl in the round of 48 today.
